I have worked in the hospital setting for 12 years. My nursing experience includes acute care, and peri-operative nursing (PACU). I have worked as a nursing educator for two years within the operating room, same-day/ PACU.  I also have experience in nursing informatics where I worked  as a Nursing Clinical Consultant for the Surgical Services Information Systems within Intermountain Healthcare. I  graduated from the MSN program at Weber State University and am excited to begin my career as a nurse educator.

 McKay Dee Surgical Center: Registered Nurse, Unit Education Consultant (UEC) for Data Coordinator, Operating Room, SDS/PACU, and Central Processing
  • Surgical Services: Pre-op/PACU/Operating Room, Central Processing, Data Coordinator

  • Acts as a resource, consultant, mentor, and coach to staff within unit

  • Partners with the Clinical Education Consultant for Surgical Services to write education plans for unit education and clinical program needs

  • Executes education as guided by the Region Education Consultant including:  

        coordinating execution of skills pass-off requirements, and facilitating high quality                    and focused unit orientation for all new hires
